Marc Fuoti has been living and working in Japan since 1988. Before establishing BPI, Marc was Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment from 1998-2005 during which time he established strong ties with Hollywood and the Japanese and Asian film and TV industries.
From 1995-1998 Marc worked at McCann-Erickson Japan, the largest international advertising agency in Japan, as Senior Vice President / Director, McCann Direct. Prior to that and from 1990-1995, Marc served as Executive Vice President at Japan Maketing Data Systems, an innovative database marketing company.
A frequent industry speaker, Marc has also been an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) since 1990 and served on its Board as Governor (1997 & 2005) and Vice President (2006). Through his involvement in the ACCJ, Marc has worked closely with the Japanese government and American trade representatives on issues involving trade, regulations and business relations between the two countries. In 2006, Marc established the Japan Entertainment & Media Alliance (JEMA), a business forum for industry professionals aimed at facilitating industry growth in Japan. JEMA is made up of over 70 representatives from more than 60 Japanese and international media and entertainment related companies. Marc also sits on the advisory board of Revshare, a California based IT company.
